Overcome by Art

During a recent yard-sailing adventure (yes, I am THAT cool), I found something so amazing that words can barely describe it. That is why I attached the above picture. It is, in fact, a giant, silver acorn. I know, I know....you must be thinking "Why on earth would someone sell such a magnificent work of art? And for $3, no less?!" I hear you, brother. Or perhaps you're thinking "I wonder if Laura would trade me that rare specimen in exchange for my first born child?" Not a chance, muchacho. I've fallen for that scam before. Better yet, perhaps you're thinking "That is so wond'rous, I wonder how I could make love to it?" Well, I'm researching that one and I'll surely get back to you. Questions aside, I think it will become the centerpiece of my apartment's decorating scheme. Not only will it hold a prominent place in a high-traffic area, but I think I might take pictures of it and frame them. If only I could commission some textile manufacturer to make a cloth with that specific acorn print, I could make curtains, a duvet cover, and throw pillows to match! YES!!! IT SHALL BE SO!!!
